This is the electric hoist safety lock, the core safety protection device of the suspended platform for high-altitude work, serving as the final "safety insurance" for aerial operations.
Core Function
● Emergency lockout fall prevention
When abnormal conditions such as steel wire rope breakage, hoist malfunction, or operational errors cause the basket to descend at an excessive speed, the safety lock will instantly activate the locking mechanism, securing the basket to an independent safety steel wire rope. This directly prevents the basket from falling and avoids accidents involving personnel and equipment.
● Limit tilt to prevent imbalance
When the basket tilts beyond the preset angle (typically 3°-8°) due to uneven lifting speeds on both sides or misalignment of the suspension mechanism, the safety lock automatically secures the rope to prevent further tilting, thereby avoiding personnel falls and material drops.
● Independent Dual Protection
The safety lock operates independently with its own safety steel wire rope, separate from the working steel wire rope of the load-bearing basket. Even if the working steel wire rope fails completely, the safety lock can still provide effective protection, forming a dual safety guarantee.
● Mandatory Standardized Assignments
Abnormal conditions caused by non-compliant operations will trigger the safety lock to engage, forcibly halting the work process and compelling operators to adhere to safety protocols, thereby reducing potential risks.
